Arrest in break and enter investigation

One man has been arrested following a break-in that occurred yesterday in the northwest.

Just after 12:30 a.m., on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, police were called to a home in the 1300 block of 15 Street N.W. The two residents of the home were awoken when an unknown man entered their bedroom. They chased the man out of the house and called police.

The suspect had entered by breaking a window in the home. At this time, it is unknown if anything was taken.

Later that day, around 6:45 pm., police responded to the area for reports of a man fitting the description. One man was taken into custody. He was interviewed and subsequently charged.

Kristopher James AUBREY, 21, of no fixed address, is charged with one count of break and enter with intent.
