Arbour Lake break and enters
The Calgary Police Service is investigating two break and enters in the community of Arbour Lake.
At approximately 10:25 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, and sometime between Friday, Aug. 23 and Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, two homes - one in the 0-100 block of Arbour Estates Way N.W., the other in the 0-100 block of Arbour Estates Green N.W., were burglarized.
In one instance, the suspect in thought to have gained entry to the home through an unlocked window.
Calgarians are reminded to ensure their homes are always secured, regardless of whether or not the residence is occupied, and to immediately report any suspicious activity to police.
Always close and lock any windows that could be used to gain access to your home while you’re sleeping or away.
If you're heading out of the city on vacation, ensure your paper delivery is suspended and ask a neighbour to collect flyers from your mailbox or front step while you're away.
