Additional Search in Homicide Investigation

The Calgary Police Service, with assistance from the Calgary Fire Department Aquatics Team, will be back at a retention pond off Stoney Trail in connection with a homicide investigation.

Today, Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at 10 a.m., CFD divers will enter the pond at 16 Avenue N.E. and Stoney Trail, to search for additional evidence in the death of Colton James CROWSHOE.

CROWSHOE, 18, was located in the pond on Thursday, July 24, 2014, after a passerby called 911 reporting a body in the water.

The victim had been reported missing after being last seen by friends in the Abbeydale area of northeast Calgary, sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m., on Friday, July 4, 2014.
