200th Class of Calgary Police Service Recruits Graduate

Today, Friday, March 15, 2013, the 200th Class of Recruits will graduate from the Calgary Police Service Chief Crowfoot Learning Centre.

In celebration of this milestone, a number of graduates from Class 100, who graduated in 1982, will be in attendence at the Graduation Ceremonies to give thier support to the Service's newest members.

In addition to 23 recruits, 2 police dogs will also be awarded their badges at the ceremony.

Chief Rick Hanson and Calgary Police Commission Chair, Mike Shaikh will address the new officers and offer ther best wishes and congratulations.

Following their graduation, the new officers will spend the next 15 weeks working with an officer coach in a variety of areas around the city before assuming their regular duties.
