16 Avenue Closed Due To Collision

Drivers are asked to find alternate routes following a collision that has 16 Avenue closed in both directions over the Shouldice Bridge.

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a two-vehicle serious-injury collision that occurred in the 6400 block of 16 Avenue. One person was transported to hospital in serious condition.

The area is expected to be closed for some time, and motorists are asked to find alternate route such as Sarcee Trail.
