Explosion In North West Home

Firefighters were called out this evening just before 8:00 pm for a report of an explosion in a home on the 200 block of Royal Oak Height NW. Crews arrived to find a garage door on a two story single family home had indeed been blown out. The Firefighters made entry into the home to look for potential victims and to contain any possible fire. It is believed that 2 people were home at the time but neither were injured. As the investigation continued the firefighters made the decision to call in Police to aid in the investigation. The scene was then turned over to Police after the scene was deemed safe.
