Calgary Fire Department extricates woman from roll-over on 36th street southeast

At approximately 4:10 this afternoon at the intersection of 19th Avenue and 36th Street S.E., the Calgary Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles, in which one rolled over. The female driver of the vehicle which rolled, was trapped and needed extrication by fire crews using hydraulic extrication tools. There were no other occupants in that vehicle and the driver was transferred to AHS for care and transport to a local hospital. Both vehicles were significantly damaged however, there were no other reported injuries. The Calgary Police Service is investigating the collision.
