Calgary Fire Department Extricates Patient From Motor Vehicle Collision

At approximately 7:30 a.m. today the Calgary Fire Department was called to north bound Stony Trail at 17 Avenue N.E. First arriving crews found a two vehicle Motor Vehicle Collision and used hydraulic extrication equipment to remove 1 trapped male patient. Patient care was transferred to Emergency Medical Services. North Bound Stony trail was temporarily closed and is currently open to one lane of traffic. Calgary Police Service and Carmacks is providing traffic control.
