Building Fires keep Calgary Firefighters busy
Yesterday Calgary Fire crews were kept busy fighting a structure fire at a South East Calgary manufacturing plant. CFD Crews went to IKO around 10 am March 11th and were still there this morning having to deal with hot spots which flared up during the night.Their efforts were hindered by the fact that they could not enter the structure as it had been weaken by the fire and interior renovations. Fire investigators will try to determine the cause of the fire today.
Early this morning Fire crews were dispatched to

a house fire on Evansbrook Way NW, when they arrived there were flames coming out of the basement of the structure. Fire crews quickly entered the building and extinguished the fire. One person was at home at the time and He was transported by EMS to hospital due to smoke inhalation. the cause of this fire is still under investigation.
