VEHICLE INCIDENT ON CALF ROBE BRIDGE

CALGARY FIRE DEPARTMENT ATTENDS VEHICLE INCIDENT ON CALF ROBE BRIDGE

At approximately 8:20 this evening, the Calgary Fire Department was dispatched to reports of a single vehicle accident on the south bound ramp of Deerfoot Trail onto east bound Peigan Trail. The first arriving crews of Calgary Fire Department found a pickup truck with the rear end suspended over the guard rail overhanging Deerfoot Trail. After the scene assessment, the vehicle was deemed to be stable in the position found. Calgary Fire crews worked to remove the vehicle from the guard rail. During the removal operation, traffic on Deerfoot Trail was shut down in both directions for about 10 minutes. There were no injuries at the scene and normal traffic patterns quickly returned to normal.
