Vehicle Collision Causes Fire

Shortly before 06:00 am this morning Calgary Firefighters were called out for a motor vehicle collision on 21st avenue and 29 street south west. A van equipment with a large bush style bumper apparently lost control going around a corner causing it to strike a parked SUV. It is believed the impact caused the gas tank on the SUV to rupture resulting in both vehicles being destroyed by fire. The driver of the Van had exited the vehicle and no injuries have been reported at this time. Fire and Police investigators are on scene to investigate the crash and resulting fire.
