Update: Snake Caught And Identified From Fish Creek Blvd Building

On January 10th at approximately 8 p.m., the Calgary Fire Department was called to the 2500 block of Fish Creek Blvd S.W. for the report of an unidentified snake in a man's apartment. An animal company specializing in snakes was brought in to trap and remove the snake. Sixty separate traps were laid in the apartment and the snake was eventually caught late yesterday afternoon near the fireplace. It has been identified as a 1.5 foot long Corn Snake, commonly kept as a pet and readily available at reptile stores. The snake is alive and well, and now resides with the company who retrieved it.
