Update on Train Derailment in Alyth Yard

Work continues on the derailed train cars in the Alyth Yard. Three of the seven affected cars have had enough product offloaded to be prepared for removal from the tracks. The removal of the product from the high pressure rail cars has proven extremely challenging due to the safety features of the rail car. The road closure of 15 Street between Blackfoot Trail and 9 Avenue S.E. is still in effect due to operational needs. A further update will be released at noon today.
