Two Alarm Fire In Taradale

 

At approximately 1:00am Fire Crews Responded to the 50 Block of Teraridge Dr. N.E. for reports of a house fire. When crews arrived they found two houses involved in flames. A second alarm was called and crews quickly set up hose lines to knock down the flames and protect the homes next store. Twelve people were self evacuated prior to the Fire Departments arrival. One resident was woke by fire crews and safely evacuated. Four houses were involved, two suffered extensive damage. One female resident approximately 60 years old was transported to hospital complaining of chest pain while watching the fire from the street. No other injuries to residents or firefighters. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
