Two alarm fire in Evergreen

At approximately 6:00 p.m. February 8 Fire crews responded to a structure fire on Evergreen Bv .S.W.

The first arriving fire company encountered heavy smoke and flame.Investigation determined all the occupants were out of the home.

Command initiated a second alarm and took a defensive position to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent houses.

Several homes were evacuated but the residents were allowed back in once air quality was safe.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

investigators are presently on scene determining cause[s] and amount of damage.
