Train Collision Closes Road in SE

At approx 2:30 p.m. today, Calgary Fire Department crews responded to a report of a train colliding with a semi-trailer at Ogden Road and 34^th Avenue S.E.  Upon arrival, CFD crews discovered a damaged truck and trailor and spilled cargo across the railway tracks. There are no reported injuries. 

Ogden Road at 34^th Avenue S.E. is now closed to traffic while crews are working to clear the tracks of the spilled cargo. Traffic in the area is expected to be affected, as the train is no longer moving and blocks other road crossings. Drivers are encouraged to expect delays or find alternate routes.
