Second Kitchen Fire in North East.

Two hours after a kitchen fire in the community of Martindale in the Cities North East, Firefighters were again called for a similar fire in the community of Taradale. The second fire occured in a home on the 0-100 block of Taraglen Court NE. The crews were met with heavy black smoke issuing from the residence. An interior attack was made on the fire which again was confined to the kitchen area. Crews remain on scene opening the ceiling to check for fire extension. Seven people, all adults living in the home escaped without injury. Investigators are now on scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
