Residential Fire in N.W. – Update

Fire crews have extinguished the fire and completed assisting residents with retrieving their valuables from a multi – family residence in the 200 block of 9 Street N. W.  Crews are remaining on scene monitoring the building for any hot spots.  Alternate accommodations have been arranged for the six occupants with the assistance Calgary Emergency Management Agency and the Canadian Red Cross.   No injuries have been reported on scene.  Traffic flow has been restored to the affected surrounding area roadways.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
