Panorama Fire Destroys Two Homes

Last night at approximately 10:30pm the Calgary Fire Department responded to the 200 block of Panamount Street NW for reports of a house fire.  Upon arrival, fire crews encountered a 2 story house fully engulfed in flames rapidly spreading to a neighbouring home.  Crews attacked the fire utilizing large volume fire streams to control the flames.  Fire damage was limited to two homes, however the damage was extensive.  In total, 16 occupants escaped from the two homes. One of which, was treated by EMS for minor smoke inhalation.  Fire investigators are currently on scene.
