NE House Fire

Today at 4:10 pm the Calgary Fire Department responded to a house fire on Falton Rise NE.

On arrival crews found a single storey single family home with a large amount of fire and smoke visible. A second alarm was called and a defensive fire attack was implemented.

Four residents including 3 adults and 1 child had safely self evacuated and were not injured but the home was completely destroyed. A short time after Calgary Fire arrived the fire was brought under control.

When conditions allowed, a search of the home was completed and a free flowing gas line was shut down. Calgary Fire crews will stay on scene for the night on fire watch and to investigative the origin and cause of the fire
