House Fire sends Five People into cold

Five people, 2 adults and 3 children fled their home out into the cold when they discovered smoke coming from the attached garage of their house. Fire crews responded to the call located on the 0 -100 block of Hudson road NW. just after 1:30 this morning, arriving to find smoke and fire in the single attached garage. Entry was made by the firefighters who quickly brought the fire under control. The home was searched by firefighters to determine all residents had safely made it out. One resident of the house was not home at the time of the fire. Fire investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the fire. With the fire being confined to the garage the family will not be displaced. No injuries were reported.
