Fire Department Extricates Driver from Early Morning Accident

Calgary Firefighters were called out this morning for a single vehicle motor vehicle collision on the off ramp from north bound Deerfoot to Memorial Drive NE. The late model BMW was heavily damaged in the incident that happened just after 05:00 am. The lone male occupant was trapped by the force of the collision which required Firefighters remove the roof of the car followed by displacing the dash board to remove the patient. Care of the Patient was being managed by AHS. Police are on scene to determine the cause of the collision. The patient was not conscious as he was removed from the vehicle.
