Fire Crews Tackle SE Warehouse Blaze

This evening at approximately 6:30, Calgary Fire Department crews responded to reports of a fire at a large commercial warehouse in the SE. First arriving crews were confronted with a fire that had extended from a burning trash dumpster into the warehouse. Due to the size and complexity of the building, a second alarm was called by the Incident Commander. An aggressive attack had the fire rapidly under control with no extension beyond the area of origin. 1 Firefighter and 1 civilian were treated for minor injuries by on scene AHS and released. Cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
