Fire Crews Respond to Garage Fire in NE

 

At approximately 11:15 p.m. the Calgary Fire Department responded to the 500 block of Madigan Drive N.E. for reports of a structure fire.  Upon arrival crews discovered a double detached garage fully involved with fire.  Crews contained the fire to the involved garage which was extensively damaged.  The garage contained storage material and no vehicles were inside at the time.  No injuries were reported.  Crews are currently on scene checking for hot spots.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
