Car runs into restaurant

Early tonight a car was driven into a restaurant in the 9600 block of Elbow Dr SW.

The car struck the building going through the main doors and side window.

No one in the restaurant was injuried nor were the two occupants of the vechile who did not require extrication from the vechile.

AHS checked all those onscene and none required transport to the hospital.

The CFD Heavy Rescue Team and the district pump crew were able to extricate the car from the buildiing and secured the structure

as there was no major structural damage to the building but the car did need to be towed away.

The Restaurant was able to remain open for business.
