Calgary Fire Department warns of high winds throughout the night

Over the next 12 hours, the City of Calgary may experience strong wind gusts. The citizens of Calgary are reminded to be careful around any overhead hazards (broken branches that are still attached to the tree) which were caused by the September snow storm. Strong wind gust may also affect unsecured items such as construction material and patio furniture.  If a branch or other material does impact a power line, please contact 311 and Enmax for assistance. If you feel there is an immediate safety issue, call 911.
