Calgary Fire Department responds to house fire on Everstone Cove S.W.

Just before 5:00 this evening, fire crews were called to a home on Everstone Cove S.W. for reports of a house fire. The fire was called in to 911 by a resident of the home who was alerted to the presence of fire by their smoke alarm. The female resident evacuated safely and no injuries were reported as a result. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, successfully limiting fire damage to the bedroom of origin. Fire crews ensured that there was no fire extension to other parts of the house. A Calgary Department Fire Investigator has been called to the scene to determine cause.
