Calgary Fire Department responds to house fire on Cedarille Cres. S.W.

At 11:15 this morning, Calgary fire crews responded to a house on Cedarille Crescent S.W. for reports of a fire. The call came in from the homeowner's alarm company, stating that a smoke alarm had activated. On arrival, firefighters saw smoke through the windows and quickly gained entry. The fire which was confined to the living room however there is significant smoke damage throughout the main floor of the home. Nobody was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported. Fire Investigators are on scene to determine the exact origin and cause.
