Calgary Fire Department responds to house fire in Millrise

Just before midnight, the Calgary Fire Department responded to a house fire in the community of Millrise. The fire was confined to a single room in the basement of the house however there was smoke damage throughout the home. Calgary firefighters were able to quickly access to the room and extinguished the fire. The two adult home owners were not injured but due to the smoke damage in the house, they will have to find other accommodations for the night. A Calgary Fire Department Fire Investigator is was called to the scene.
