Calgary Fire Department Responds To Collision Between Bus and Sander

 

At approximately 9:00 this morning, the Calgary Fire Department responded to 54th Avenue and Barlow Trail S.E. after receiving reports about a collision between a bus and a sanding truck. The bus carried adult passengers of which approximately a dozen were reported to have injuries. The driver of the sanding truck was not injured. No extrication was needed, however fire crews evaluated and escorted all passengers off the bus and transferred patient care to EMS.
