Calgary Fire Department responds to building fire in Sunalta

Shortly before 1:30 this morning the Calgary Fire Department was called to the 1700 block of 11 Ave SW for reports of a building fire.  Upon arrival fire crews found a small 2 story commercial structure with a fire in the mudroom at the rear.  The fire was quickly brought under control and the building was searched for occupants.   Firefighters were able to confirm that the building was unoccupied at the time of the fire.  There were no reports of injury.  The structure sustained minor smoke and fire damage. Investigators are on scene.  Traffic in the area is unaffected at this time.
