Calgary Fire Department responds to a Fire in the NE

At approximately 11 o'clock this morning Calgary Fire crews responded to the 1100 block of 40th Avenue NE to reports of a building fire. First arriving crews were presented with a custom kitchen cabinet business that had a paint booth involved in fire. The fire was held in check by the buildings sprinkler system until crews arrived. Firefighters checked for hotspots and ventilated the building for further reoccupation later in the day. It is expected that the business will open later on this afternoon. Cause of the fire currently under investigation, there were no injuries reported at this incident.
