Calgary Fire Department Responds As Seven Escape Burning House In N.E.

 

This morning just before 7:00, fire crews responded to reports of a house fire on Falchurch Crescent in the N.E. Upon arrival, a second alarm was immediately called for extra resources. Two adults and five children made it out of the home safely without injuries. Five people in the two neighbouring homes were temporarily evacuated until the fire was extinguished. There was no damage to the two neighbouring homes, however damage to the house of origin is extensive. The impacted family was new to that home and were tenants. Firefighters were later able to enter the home and retrieve valuables and documents for the family. The fire is currently under investigation.
