Calgary Fire Department rescue man off roof in S.W.

This morning at approximately 8:15, 911 received a call from a man working on the rooftop of a building at the 3700 block of 17th Avenue S.W. He was suffering from chest pain. Calgary fire crews used an aerial ladder truck to deploy a stoke stretcher and quickly rescued the man from the roof. He remained conscious throughout the rescue and his care was transferred to waiting EMS crews once lowered to the ground.
