Calgary Fire Department fights two alarm house fire in Beddington

 

The Calgary Fire Department responded to a house fire on Bedridge Road N.E. shortly before 3:00 this afternoon.  Upon arrival, fire crews immediately called a second alarm for additional resources due to the volume of smoke and fire. Nobody was home at the time of the fire, however two dogs were helped out of the house by a neighbour. The house sustained significant fire damage however firefighters successfully kept the fire from spreading to neighbouring homes. There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters at this incident. The origin and cause is currently under investigation.
