Calgary Fire Department fights building fire in NE

At approximately 3:00 this afternoon, Calgary Fire crews were called to a commercial strip mall at the 3600 block of 29th Street NE after 911 received multiple calls for smoke at that location. On arrival, fire crews fought the fire, quickly bringing it under control and limiting damage to the unit of origin. Some smoke did enter neighbouring businesses however that has been cleared and employees have been allowed to re-enter. No injuries were reported as a result of this fire and Calgary Fire Department Fire Investigator is on scene to determine the origin and cause.
