Calgary Fire Department Extinguishes Early Morning Garage Fire

The Calgary Fire Department responded to the 100 block of Falsby Road N.E.just before 12:30 A.M. this morning for reports of a vehicle fire. First arriving fire crews found both a car and detached garage on fire at the rear of the residence. Calgary Fire crews were able to quickly bring both fires under control and damage was confined to the car and garage. The car was consumed by the fire and the garage sustained significant damage.  The homeowner noticed the fire and called 911. No injuries were reported and traffic was not impacted by this event . Fire investigators are currently on scene and have initiated their investigation.
