Calgary Fire Department battles a second house fire in the Southwest

At approximately 9:30 this evening the Calgary Fire Department responded to the 3700 block of 45 St SW for reports of a house fire.  Arriving crews found a 2 story duplex with smoke and flames venting from a second floor window.  Firefighters initiated an aggressive exterior attack and were able to quickly control the fire.  The home was under construction and unoccupied at the time of the fire. There were no reports of injury.  Fire investigators are on scene.  Traffic in the area is unaffected at this time.
