Calgary Fire Department Aquatics Rescue Team Assists With Body Recovery In Glenmore Reservoir

 

Shortly before noon today, the Calgary Fire Department Aquatics Rescue Team was called to the Glenmore Reservoir to assist Calgary Police Service with the recovery of a body, reported to be in the water near the bridge at Glenmore Trail S.W. Firefighters used their boat and located the body, bringing it to the boat launch for transfer to the Medical Examiner's Office. It is not known how the body came to be in the water. Police are investigating.
