Calgary Fire Crews Save House And Garage

 

At approximately 12:45 this afternoon, a homeowner on Whitewood Bay went into his garage and started his late 90's sedan. He then noticed smoke coming from under the hood of his car. The homeowner evacuated the garage and called 911 from outside. Fire crews quickly arrived and successfully put out the fire, efficiently stopping spread to the attached garage and home. The garage and home sustained some smoke damage, however the vehicle was significantly damaged. No injuries were reported as a result of this fire. The fire is currently under investigation.
