Calgary Fire Crews Extricate Woman After Serious Collision In South Part Of Calgary

At approximately 1:30 this afternoon, Calgary fire crews were called to McLeod Trail and 194th Avenue S.E. for a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at an intersection. An extrication in which the driver's door was completely cut off was needed to quickly remove the injured woman from her vehicle. Patient care was transferred to EMS. The collision is being investigated by Calgary Police and only southbound lanes are currently open at that location.
