Calgary Fire Crews Extricate person after car strikes SW Home

At approximately 8:30 this evening the Calgary Fire Department responded to reports of a driver trapped after hitting a building with their car. Fire crews arrived at the 1700 block of 22 St SW to find a lady in her 30’s had struck a light pole with her car, knocking the pole off its concrete footing. The car then continued on and struck a house. Fire fighters extricated the lady from her vehicle and handed her care over to waiting EMS crews who transported her to hospital for further evaluation. There were no other injuries at this incident.
