Calgary Fire Crews Extricate Patient From Vehicle On Bow Trail

Just before 11:00 this morning, Calgary Fire crews responded to Bow Trail and 45th Street S.W. for a single motor vehicle collision (MVC). Upon arrival, firefighters found a vehicle up on a concrete barrier, against the sound wall in the westbound lane, facing east on Bow Trail. Trapped inside the vehicle, was a conscious male patient. Firefighters quickly stabilized the scene, extricated the patient, and initiated Basic Trauma Life Support until transferring patient care to EMS. Traffic on westbound Bow Trail at 45th Street was temporarily rerouted during this incident.
