Calgary fire crews extricate one patient after collision in N.E.

This morning at approximately 7:30, Calgary fire crews were called to Country Hills BLVD and Stoney Trail N.E.for a collision involving a semi trailer and a minivan. On arrival, fire crews stabilized the vehicle and extricated the male patient by removing the driver side door and pushing the dashboard away from the entrapped driver. His care was transferred to on scene EMS personnel. Calgary Police are on scene investigating the cause of the collision. Traffic on Country Hills BLVD has been affected.
