Calgary Fire Crews Extricate Man after Collision In South East Calgary

Shortly before 6:00pm this evening,Calgary fire crews were called to 84th Street and 61st avenue S.E. for a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles.Crews used hydraulic extrication equipment to remove a male occupant from one vehicle and transfered patient care to on scene Alberta Health Services personnel who transported the patient to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported and 84th street is currently shut down in both directions of travel while Calgary Police Services conducts an investigation.
