Calgary Fire Crews assist with Early Morning Delivery

At approximately 2 this morning, Calgary Fire Department crews assisted EMS personnel with the delivery of a healthy baby boy in the 500 block of Hidden NW. Fire and EMS crews were met at the front door of the home by an anxious Father who directed them to an even more anxious Mom. The delivery went without a problem and Dad was asked to cut the umbilical cord. The new family were then transported by EMS and are now recovering in a local Hospital.
