Brentwood Kitchen fire update

It is with great sadness that the Calgary Fire Department has to report yet another fire death in the City of Calgary. An early evening house fire on Benton Drive NW claimed the life of the female occupant. The lady was located during the primary search and turned over to EMS who treated and transported her to the Foothills Hospital. The cause of death has yet to be determined but it appears that fire related injuries were involved. At the present time crews remain on scene conducting a fire watch, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
