Body Discovered in Evergreen House Fire

The Calgary Fire Department is saddened to announce the discovery of a body at a fire location in the 100 block of Evergreen Way SW. The body was discovered by Fire crews performing a search of the building earlier today. Identity of the person is yet to be determined. Arson investigators have requested that some debris resulting from the fire be cleared away in order to facilitate their work. Deconstruction of the building is now underway. Investigation is ongoing.
