Two-day operation arrests seven for drug related charges in Westbrook area

A two-day operation focused on drug trafficking in the Westbrook Area has led to charges against seven people.

Through targeted patrols, District 2 patrol officers have given significant focus to this area, which includes Westbrook Mall and Westbrook LRT Station. Community Resource Officers also engaged with local businesses, social agencies and city partners to help curb social disorder.

The two-day operation on Wednesday, June 27, and Thursday, June 28, 2018, targeted specific individuals who are responsible for significant drug activity, which leads to many of the issues.

Methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl were seized and 30 criminal charges, including drug possession and trafficking were laid. The accused are:
