Reminder: One week left to review 2020 Property Assessment

CALGARY ­— The City reminds property owners that the Customer Review Period is still on. Now is the time to review your 2020 property assessment to ensure your information is accurate and update information if required. The 2020 Customer Review Period closes one week from today on March 10.

The City reviews market conditions each year so it can fairly distribute taxes based on the value of owned properties. How much each property owner contributes is based on their assessed value as of July 1 last year.

There is a lot of information on calgary.ca/assessment including a property tax calculator. You can also call The City at 403.268.2888 to discuss your assessment. Qualified experts will answer questions at no cost. The Customer Review Period ends on March 10.
